Knee Replacement

Knee replacement surgery (knee arthroplasty) involves replacing the damaged surfaces of the knee joint with artificial components. It is most often performed for severe osteoarthritis that has not responded to conservative treatments.

Both total knee replacement (replacing all three compartments) and partial knee replacement (unicompartmental) are available. The procedure typically provides significant pain relief and allows patients to return to normal daily activities.
